The Education, Training & Exercise Branch is responsible for:

• providing SP focused education and training to individuals from military and civilian staff level up to leadership level, as well as to units and teams in accordance with NATO standards;
• providing mobile training teams and subject matter experts to facilitate education and training of national and multinational military and civilian units;
• providing support to the planning and conducting of Alliance, NATO Nations, NATO partners’ SP exercises;
• developing training standards and supporting the development of SP related concepts, doctrines and TTPs.

The Training Development & Delivery Section is responsible for:

• designing, developing and delivering courses, workshops, seminars and other training activities in accordance with NATO standards;
• providing instructors and Mobile Education and Training Teams (METT);
• developing the individual and collective SP training standards;
• providing support for the preparation and execution of (NATO) exercises.

The Education & Cooperation Section is responsible for:

• providing effective cooperation in the field of education and training between NATO SP COE and NATO, Nations and Partners and other Education and Training Facilities (ETFs);
• providing support to the development of Advanced Distributed Learning (on line/e-learning courses and other training solutions).
